- 1. The position/local area of the apartment were close to perfect. It was close to most of the scenic area of Paris but had a very neighbourhood feel. 2. - The flat at 33 Rue Charlot was exactly as advertised -- light, airy, clean. Had all mod cons + great charm and character. The location is perfect in the 3rd. Right next door is the Enfants Rouges market with produce, fish, meat, cheese, bread, wine and food stalls with japanese, morrocan and italian take-away. Charlot is at the center of an arsty and charming area about three blocks from the Picasso Museum. Great shopping and restaurants, a short walk into the Marais and the heart of Paris. The owner was very easy to work with and the building has excellent management. We stayed there for 6 months and didn't want to leave! I would recommend this Paris long term apartment rental 100%.
