- Ignore the entry way, the apartment is great and superbly located. Talk to the very nice owner about use of the computer(French keyboard) and other inclusions. Two blocks from large grocery and in midst of dozens of restaurants. Subway one block away and Notre Dame very close. Needs written instructions for washer(very different). - Wonderful location, well equipped and relatively quiet considering its location in the heart of Saint Germain. Very convenient for buying food and wine etc. Also within good walking distance of key sites on both right and left banks, and transportation. Only possible drawback is that the elevator is minute by North American standards and could be a problem for anyone overweight, bearing in mind that the Paris short term apartment is on the fourth floor.
