- This apartment in paris is in a truly wonderful location and the family who manage it are friendly, professional and helpful (definitely follow their tip about Eric Kayser's Bakery). This would suit most people who are fit and able bodied... there are six flights of stairs to the apartment and steep stairs to the bed. It was a little noisy, but this was no doubt a tradeoff with a) the location; and, b) the fantastic weather which meant we had all the windows open (the apartment was very quiet with the windows shut).
