It in an interesting 17th century, secure building two blocks from the Bastille Metro station. It is also two blocks from the Seine and an easy walk to many of the key attraction in Paris. - Excellent paris apartment in a nearly perfect location! Could not recommend more! However, we should have taken into account, having a one year old child with us, that he would try and get into EVERYTHING!!! We spent a good amount of our first day in the apartment barricading everything (lots of CDs and books within easy reach, etc.). There were many shops for groceries to eat in or to picnic out, plus many fine cafes close by.
