Elegant and very quiet one bedroom Paris apartment on the amazing island in the middle of Paris: the beautiful Ile St Louis. Beautifully decorated in a Napoleonic style from the Empire. Within easy walking distance to the Saint Paul area, Notre Dame de Paris Cathedral and Latin Quarter. The Ile St Louis is a stylish and elegant location where celebrities and old french families have their residences. This ideal Paris vacation apartment is also a lively location with many restaurants, bistros, cheese and grocery stores. The location has a double East West exposure, inside 2 private courtyards to provide quietness and privacy - far from the noisy streets of Paris. The apartment is situated on the third floor of an old building from the 17th century, which has an ELEVATOR (very rare on the Island!). The spacious living room has a good sofa and a large library. Small TV and broadband Internet connection are provided. The kitchen is fully equipped with 4 gas rings, oven, microwave, coffee machine, dishwasher, toaster, and a washing machine. Sufficient dishes and glasses are provided for a family of 4. The comfortable bedroom has a Queen-size bed. Bathroom with a bath and shower. Telephone is provided for receiving and making local phone calls. No smoking, no pets please.

- The location on Ile Saint Louis was incredible, right in the centre of Paris. We enjoyed returning home every evening past the Notre Dame cathedral which was beautifully illuminated. The short term apartment was very quiet as it faced onto a courtyard. We were a family of 4 including 2 very tall adult sons. The living room was large and had 2 sofa beds (one single and one double, so we never felt cramped. The furnishings were old-fashioned but tasteful and n good condition, and there were plenty of books (both French and English) to read. We found 2 great bakeries to buy baguettes and croissants for breakfast on the island (the best was Boulangerie Patisserie des Deux Ponts) and the best ice cream shop in Paris, Berthillon, is only a minute away.We found Frederik, who met us with the keys and showed us around the apartment polite and helpful.
