One feels as immersed in the culture of Paris within this outstanding Paris apartment as when out in the city; seamless pleasure. Excellent location for walking in all directions on both banks. On a practical level, closing the double windows effectively eliminates all external noise. We were there in September and the moderate temperatures presented no problem with closing all windows to sleep. During the day, we found opening the windows and people watching across the Pont Louis Philippe was wonderful. Gracious and helpful welcome by owner. Our highest recommendation

We loved staying at "hotel de ville" apartment rental in Paris. What a gracious host! We had a wonderful time in Paris, and it was partly due to the fact that we did not stay at a hotel. My comment about quietness: it was quiet enough when the windows were closed, but to get fresh air at night we had to open the windows, and then we could hear the city noises early morning.
