Paris 1 bedroom apartment in a beautiful "Art Nouveau" building, built in 1907, on the first floor (American second floor), access by staircase. Both the building and the architect feature in art and architecture books. Renovation is done high end, by an interior architect, with preservation of the original details of the apartment (the Art Nouveau fireplaces, ceilings, paneled doors etc). Ideal Short term Paris rental. The apartment has three rooms: the master bedroom with two one person luxury beds (2 of 90 cm by 200cm), the living room (including a convertible sofa bed, with an extra mattress for 1/2 of 140 cm by 200 cm) and the dining room. Thanks to the sliding doors between the living and dining room one can easily create a fully separate second bedroom in the living room, should you wish to sleep separately. The very quiet master bedroom of the apartment is situated on the courtyard of the building. The windows in the rooms have electric shutters. The kitchen has blinds. The kitchen has all modern Siemens appliances (dishwasher, washing and drying machine, refrigerator and freezer, oven, microwave). Nespresso and a normal coffee machine, electric water cooker, mixer, vacuum cleaner etc. A bathroom with wash basin, toilet and a bath with shower. There is a separate toilet with a large wash basin which may serve as a second bathroom, a ´salle d´eau´ in the hall. Floors are laid in with classic Ravenna marble SICIS mosaics and oak parquet. A mix of comfortable, contemporary, furniture and ´sixties´ Scandinavian. Situated on the border, where the 6th and 7th arrondissments meet: one of the finest, safest and most exciting neighborhoods of Paris and close to all famous monuments and shops. The apartment is situated in a quiet side street, just around the corner of the "Rue de Sevres", literally on the border where the mondain 6th and elegant distinguished 7th arrondissements meet. 500 meter from the prestigious department store Le Bon Marche. The Duroc and Vaneau metro stations are closest by at 100-300 meter from our apartment. Sevre-Babylone metro station at 550 m.
