This was an absolutely perfect one bedroom apt. The location could not be more ideal - in terms of close location of restaurants, stores, and supermarkets; closeness to the Metro, the Seine and major boulevards; easy walkability to many major areas of Paris; and ease of accessing tours [pickups were no issue]. The apartment could not be better equipped, and we enjoyed the artistic touches of the owner. We also appreciated the sample sizes of bath and shower products, and the supply of small amounts of pasta, coffee, water and soda pop. This helped us to get through the jet lag of the first day. It was also interesting to note that the prices for food, clothing, etc. were substantially less in this area than in the more popular areas. This location is ideal for anyone who likes to walk, interact with various nationalities [particularly students] and enjoy art, museums, and the "buzz" of Paris. Immediately below the apartment is one of the best Italian restaurants in Paris, as well as multiple other very good bistros and cafes. It should be noted that the apartment is on the second floor [read third floor in North American terms], and is only accessed by 52 very narrow, winding steps [with one landing]. People with mobility issues would have difficulty with this. The other down side might be that there is an Irish Pub immediately across the street. This makes for quite noisy Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. Closing the windows reduced the noise considerably. Again, we enjoyed experiencing the people of Paris. Frederic and Jocelyn were outstanding in welcoming us, and offering assistance. My husband and I would highly recommend Paristay as a agency, and this apartment in particular. Thank you for a most enjoyable experience

We really enjoyed our month here. The paris apartment is well located - the area is perhaps a little touristy, but loads going on, lots of bars & restaurants etc. The apartment was like new, and superbly equipped. Everything you could need. Definitely recommend !
