The apartment is lovely and very comfortable. The view from the windows is nice. The neighborhood is terrific, with many nice restaurants and markets all around, two Metro stops within a block or so, and interesting sites nearby, including the St Germain and St Sulpice churches. The bikeshare program also has several bike stands within a few blocks; we used the bikeshare and loved it. We found this apartment to be an ideal base from which to explore Paris. The bathroom was larger than we had been told to expect in Paris rentals. The landlord was very responsive. There was one unanticipated and temporary problem with the apartment, having to do with construction on the building during our stay, and he was quick to respond and make up for the problem. We have already recommended this apartment to friends who will be in Paris soon, and we would love to stay in it again at some point. One slight caution: people who have trouble sleeping might be disturbed by the noise in the nearby streets on weekend nights. We didn't think it was too bad, but we did hear it.

Laurent was an amazing host. He was extremely friendly and welcoming, spoke English fluently, and did his best to make sure we felt comfortable and welcome in Paris let alone his paris apartment for rent. We definitely recommend his apartment to anyone.
