I had a wonderful time living in this apartment. I was studying at Sciences Po in Saint Germain, so it was a short train ride to uni every day. The neighbourhood around Bastille is known for being lively with lots of bars and restaurants nearby, which meant that there was nearly always people out and about. This made me feel safer walking home alone at night because it was well lit with lots of people around. The apartment itself was spacious, clean, comfortable, very well equipped, great internet for doing research for uni assignments, had a lovely little courtyard in which to sit on spring mornings. It had a supermarket literally across the road from it. It was very secure - you needed a key or a 4 digit PIN to be able to get in the building, then a separate key for my apartment which had privacy behind a gate into the courtyard and some hedges too. I loved the fact that the apartment had a bath (a luxury for Paris studio apartments), a separate toilet, a comfy bed with plenty of linen. Even though the area of Bastille is lively, in the apartment complex it was very quiet - you definitely couldn't hear any noise from the street. My landlady and her husband were very kind to me, offering me any extra linen if I needed it and were prompt in transferring the security deposit back. I absolutely recommend this apartment, I loved my time in Paris and I loved my little home there too. Also I would recommend using Paristay as they were very professional in helping me get this apartment and answered all of my endless questions (contracts, security deposits, guarantors et cetera) even before I left Australia to come to France.

I feel like I lucked into a great apartment for my stay in Paris. The apartment was in the condition promised and the Paris long term rent owners were incredibly helpful and responsive. I had no real problems, but they responded immediately to any minor problems I had and were very welcoming and nice.
